A steel countertop reads practical and unfiltered, and contrasts with the warm cabinet fronts in golden Oregon pine, rich painted grey and timeless painted white. The grain of the Oregon pine is laid at forty-five degrees, cutting softly across the horizontals and verticals of the kitchen, and a geometric notch handle sits in the corner of each front. Honest materials, quietly graphic detail — a modern backdrop for ordinary days.
