A kitchen is the setting for the daily creativity of cooking, playing and celebrating, so FOLD was designed around surfaces that tolerate constant use.
It is made from thin layers of aluminium — cut, folded and assembled into a straightforward, flexible system. The clean lines that come out of working the material form a calm setting in a busy room, and the folds themselves merge with a powder-coated surface into a pure, holistic finish.
Two variants, Anthracite and Raw. Both are a post plate wrapped in a 2 mm folded aluminium sheet — the first powder-coated in anthracite, the second raw brushed aluminium that oxidises gently and darkens over time.
A 5 mm solid stainless steel countertop for both variants.
